I came to Curves to work out with my with my mom and became hooked after my first Curvessmart workout. I come because of the LADIES, it's my happy place and I love the atmosphere. Plus there's nothing better than enjoying spending time somewhere and seeing amazing results from your workout.

I was having pain in my left hip. I went to my doctor and she told me that I was prearthritic insisted that the only thing that would help is regular exercise, and that Curves for Women was what she recommended. I joined the next day, September 21, 2005. I loved it, and it was something I could stick with!! In December of 2005 I learned that my Curves was hiring, and I thought it would be a fun place to work. I was right!! I bought my Curves June 16, 2009, and absolutely love it. I have worked out 659 times, and my cholestrol, blood pressure, and sugar levels are all in the normal range. My resting heart rate has dropped from 70 when I first joined to 48 bpm now. I feel as good now, at 52, as I felt in my twenties. THANK GOD FOR CURVES!!

Before I came to Curves I didn't exercise in any way. I came to Curves because of health concerns. I am a breast cancer survivor, and had a 30 lb weight gain after the diagnosis, which triggered diabetes. Since coming to Curves, I have been able to reduce my diabetes medication and my overall health has improved. Since coming to work for Curves, I have become much more committed to my workout, and I enjoy encouraging and empowering other women to reap the same health benefits!!
